What if?

March 4, 2010

It is never too good to make regrets, more so to dwell on the past. We should always be moving forward to move up. Anyways, if there is one major “What if” in my life is the fact that I became so dependent on my dad, siblings, husband and my mom’s hired driver to drive me around town back in my home country. Yes, I do know how to drive and even took 2 formal driving lessons and passed my non-professional driver’s license. But then again, I was too lazy to practice my driving skills because there was always someone around to drive for me. However, with my son’s upcoming big school days, DH and I are talking about getting another car for me, and no I’m not even dreaming about a toyota yaris or other high-end cars because I know that I would not be able to drive it well. A work opportunity was also presented to me last week but what is hindering me from accepting it is the conflicting schedule with hubby’s. He is busy too and could not drive both me and my son everyday.

Speaking of, my Russian friend who is as unconfident driver as I am have been reading on toyota yaris review, ford reviews, and other car review online because she just recently passed her driver’s license examination and is now a confident driver. She asked me how I am, driving-wise well I guess I got inspired by her. I might as well take the next step. Be inspired and read car reviews from Car Connection so I could proceed to getting a license for myself too.
